Super natural remedy

This book is a gold mine of clinical research and practical applications of medicinal charcoal. There is the technical information on the known physics of charcoal and how it is made. The book focuses on activated charcoal's role as antidote for poisons but also covers a wide range of applications for human ailments, as well as animal applications and in agriculture. Cooney methodically examines all the available research and concludes there is no other single product that so effectively, rapidly, economically neutralizes the poisonous nature of so many natural and man-made chemicals as does activated charcoal. One deficiency of the book is its lack of anecdotal experiences with charcoal in the general public, which is another gold mine of information. This book and the other books by David Cooney on activated charcoal were a major resource for my book [...] and I am most grateful for his determination to draw attention to this universal and inexpensive antidote and detoxifier.

Portfolio: The Complete Various Drawings compiles the 275 drawings found in the original five volumes as well as the cover illustrations and special bookplates. About the Author
Mark Schultz loves a good story, always has. His lifelong interest in the sciences and natural history led him to create the award-winning Xenozoic Tales and co-create the undersea adventure SubHuman, as well as to write such non-fiction projects as The Stuff of Life, a Graphic Guide to Genetics and DNA. He has illustrated a collection of Robert E. Howard’s Conan of Cimmeria and the autobiography of Charles R. Knight and his illustrated novella Storms at Sea. He lives in Pennsylvania.

Since 1993, Zander Cannon has written and drawn comics about gods, robots, astronauts, police officers, paleontologists, aliens, feng shui masters, superheroes, and monsters. He lives in Minnesota with his strong wife Julie and above-average son Jin.

Excellent big sized book, 272 pages full of pictures such as underdrawing, finished illustrations, roughs, studies, sketches, preliminaries and more in excellent printed quality.

Not enough stars...

I had ordered the deluxe edition with the slipcase, but I believe the content is the same.

If you know who Mark Schultz is, then you know what to expect from this book. Lush landscapes, buxom brunettes, stoic heroes and narrow escapes on worlds similar to our own form the bulk of content in this book. Schultz possesses not only a well-honed skill with brush and ink, but also the ability to transport the viewer to foreign lands and different times.

This volume compiles the 'Various Drawings' series in its entirety, volumes 1-5. I do not own volumes 1 and 2, so I can't compare with those. But I can say for certain that volumes 3-5 have some additional images not included in their single paperback form. The arrangements are slightly different, and I think most images have been reproduced at different sizes (the book is larger than the individual volumes). Also included is some new commentary, as well as a forward by Mark Schultz, which provides some insight to his thought processes in retrospect.

This book is filled with imagination and technique that are second to none in the realm of illustration. You also get some insight into the process and time that each finished piece involves. Whether finished or not, each sketch or painting showcases incredible talent, and should be seen as an investment rather than a purchase. Even though his earlier works are nothing short of amazing, you can actually flip through the pages and see development and growth as he hones his skill and carves out his own unique style. I have spent hours pouring over the Various Drawings books, and already have put a considerable amount of time into study and enjoyment of this one.

I thought that I might sell my individual volumes once I got this book, but the differences make it worthwhile for me to keep both. I fully recommend buying this book. Schultz is a one of a kind illustrator, and his devotion to the craft is evident in the treasures held in this massive tome.

This book is overwhelmingly good.

For starters, it is MASSIVE. Clocking in at 11 1/2 x 12 inches.

Then you are bombarded with page after page after page of excellent art. It's Mark Shultz after all.

That's really all I have to say. Buy it already.

The book Self Realization truly does reveal the ultimate goal of life- love, peace, and truth. The author provides a very clear, concise, and step- by- step guide to what self-realization really is, and how one can know oneself (staying very much a part of this material world.) Aspirants and people curious to embark on the quest to uncover self-realization should know that it is simply the knowing of body, mind, and soul--that we are one with the omnipresence of God. In her book she stresses that we are not merely near the Absolute Being at all times, but that we are just a part of the creator now, as we ever will be. We do not have to pray that it come to us, but that God's omnipresence is actually our omnipresence. In her book the author also explains the science behind it, and why it works. Today, unfortunately we live in a world driven by science and technology, and nothing that can't be scientifically explained tickles our fancy. So, in her book she herself sums the science of self- realization in the words of Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati as," Out of the capacity of the brain, only about ten percent is active and the remaining ninety percent is dormant. The awakening of the dormant ninety percent of the brain is self-realization."

Great self-help book!

It's a great book to read. Has so much information on various topics. The best is we can email our picture to the author and she does healing and tuning the chakras without any charges! She seems to be a golden-hearted person who is a great guide and friend. I love her
