the correct way to teach nlp.

for me the subject of nlp has always been difficult to understand , i now know that just because you know a subject does not mean you know how to teach it . in clear easy to understand english language will horton guides you to a very good understanding of nlp and how to apply it on others to get them to comply with your wishes, for their beniefit and yours . dont be intimidated by the size of the book. it is an easy read and the author has a sense of good humor, it is easy to see why he is the top in his field and sought after by so many people to train them ,including the f.b.i . if you were to take even his distance course in basic nlp it would cost you one-thousand dollars ,but with the book you can take your time and might learn more than is in the course it is the only book on nlp out of the ten or so written by so-called experts that ive read that get the message across in easy to understand language. it seems it takes other author s thirty words to say what this guy says i ten . get this book and you will see what i mean . the correct way to teach nlp.

Garbage for the Dustbin of History

I never write reviews but I made an exception in this case since everyone needs to avoid this abysmal book!
It is horribly written--on purpose--using Nuero-Linguistic Programming (NLP) composition techniques so as to waste readers' time by forcing them to endure endlessly repetitive, non-sensical, and utterly moronic wording, phrasing, and organization to try to hoodwink readers into becoming Pavlovian-trained, non-reasoning automatons who believe that the only secret of all the successful people in the world is NLP!
After reading a few chapters, I became utterly disgusted by the author's arrogance in thinking that his readers are all mindless sheep willing to accept his non-stop marketing hype for NLP. (Essentially, NLP seems to be nothing more than a money-grubbing, Multi-Level-Marketing, Ponzi cult trying to line the pockets of their leaders with the hard-earned money of individuals seeking self-improvement.) This book, by the founder of NLP's National Foundation, is nothing more than a sleazy con job trying to mesmerize readers into blindly joining NLP's moronic cult. To join, suckers (or students as Horton prefers to call them) will waste thousands of dollars attending worthless seminars buying books and videos galore all so they can learn NLP lingo to try and manipulate people into doing their bidding like puppets.
Caveat emptor: Buyer beware! Save your sanity and steer clear of this book!
If you want to learn the real secret to succesful relationships without wasting your money and respect your fellow human beings, pick up these books instead: Joe Navarro's "What Every BODY is Saying: An Ex-FBI Agent's Guide to Speed-Reading People;" Daniel Goleman's "Emotional Intelligence" and "Social Intelligence;" George J. Thompson's "Verbal Judo: The Gentle Art of Persuasion."
Just avoid this book like the Plague!
