Loved the Intrigue More Than Normal

I read a lot of gay books but not a lot of bondage ones. This one came recommended from a friend who has been interested in doing some of the same kinds of things, so he dared me to read it – I didn’t care one way or the other. I’ll read nearly anything, even if I think I won’t like it.
I was actually surprised to be turned on as much as I was though. I normally go for the vanilla sex stuff, but this was actually really good. I liked the way the author came up with all the different ways to tie the main character, and the steamy scenes – which was most of the book – were incredible for being fetish scenes. Maybe you could call me an agnostic BDSM lover. I can usually take it or leave it. In this case, it was definitely worth my time. And it was well written, which I always prefer.
I probably won’t read any more bondage books to be honest because it’s just not my cup of tea. Still, I really liked this one for being an excellent read for what it was.
I can see it being crack cocaine for someone that’s into gay bondage. Definitely recommended for them.

Breathtaking with a Twist!!!

I loved the characters in this book as well as the sex scenes. It’s definitely kinky and the author has a good imagination. I can tell he knows a lot about what he’s talking about with the rope work and bondage positions from the way he described them, and he was very creative with that.
The plot was good, but any plot could always be better, which is why I give it 4 stars instead of five. Each chapter seemed to follow a routine, hot as they all were. But to be honest, it’s hard to combine both an excellent plot and a sex story together. Still, the writer did a really good job of that and it’s as good a novel or better than any I have read in this genre. I’m not sure I get the whole recovery aspect of this book, but I read it for a good story and excellent BDSM scenes. I got both.
For what it’s worth, I would highly recommend it to men and women into M/M bondage scenarios that go well beyond boring. I see the author has another series out, and I’ll be reading that in the next few weeks. I look forward to it.

Hard Journey

Wow, just wow. This book starts out so dark and very erotic. You feel that Gary is one messed up man who can't seem to make up his mind about what he wants. The scene start out with consent but quickly deteriorate from that. I wasn't even sure if I could continue. I like a wide range of genre and sometimes I don't mind dark but man this just seemed so dark.
But I hate to give up on something and I'm so glad I didn't. About half way through you begin to see a small glimmer that something is changing inside of Gary and there might just be some hope for this lost young man.
The ending is so worth the journey. I don't want to give anything way so I don't want to say too much. But the story is realistic enough to be honest that Gary is still a work in progress but now you want to cheer him on.
