About the Author
Robert Leaf has lived in New York, Brussels, London, and Hong Kong and�was with international PR firm Burson-Marsteller for�40 years. He now has his own company, Robert S. Leaf Consultants, and specializes in advising and training top executives, but he has remained in the Burson-Marsteller offices and still acts as an advisor to the firm. Leaf is listed in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, and Debrett's People of Today, and was awarded the Chartered Institute of Public Relations first award for outstanding achievements in international public relations.

Shaping perceptions

For anyone wanting to understand the power of public relations in shaping perceptions about a product, company or issue, this is a must read. And an entertaining one, too. Bob Leaf is one of those brilliant practitioners who is also an astute businessman and an inspirational leader. He was there at the creation of Burson-Marsteller's enduring global network in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas and his stories and illustrative anecdotes make this an important contribution to the evolving profession of public relations. Highly recommended.

Mr. Leaf has been in the international PR business longer than anyone on earth and he has lived,worked and travelled the globe. He is a perceptive and funny writer so he mixes "how to" information with his personal experiences. I ts almost like having a chat over coffee in his London office.
